How to Install coccinelle software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

coccinelle software package provides semantic patching tool for C, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install coccinelle

coccinelle is installed in your system.

Make ensure the coccinelle package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coccinelle *

You will get with coccinelle package name, version, architecture and description in a table
